FRIEND

We receive donations of any amount with gratitude. Our Friends are instrumental in helping us support smaller resident events and operations and have an invaluable impact the quality of experiences we are able to deliver for both our residents and the local community. For their support Friends will receive:

All Supporter donations go directly towards funding residency experiences including mentoring and trips, our local events programme, and operations. In recognition of their gift Supporters will receive:

 

  • A welcome pack
  • Invitations to all private events and exhibition viewings hosted by both Y.S.F. and G.A.S. for one year
  • A named credit on the G.A.S. and Y.S.F. websites

All donations go directly towards funding open calls and associated residencies that target emerging talent as well as events and operations. In addition to the above benefits Champions will receive the following in recognition of their generous support:

 

  • A signed, limited edition artwork by a resident alumni
  • Invitations to salons with curators, collectors, and artists
  • VIP access and tickets to global arts events

PLATINUM

$16,000 | 7,000,000 NGN | Per Annum

 

Platinum level donors are essential in helping us deliver public programmes and site specific projects that contribute to the arts and culture eco-system in Nigeria. In addition to the above benefits, Platinum level donors will receive:

 

  • An invitation to an annual intimate dinner hosted by Yinka Shonibare CBE RA in London or Lagos
  • Invitations to attend programmed international G.A.S. and Y.S.F. hosted VIP tours showcasing our projects alongside curated cultural experiences across Nigeria and the UK (at an extra cost)
  • An option to hire the G.A.S. Lagos event space

RESIDENCY PATRON

$20,000 | 8,500,000 NGN | Per Year for Three Years

 

The Residency Patron level is for donors who can commit to a package used directly to support three residency fellowship awards in Nigeria over a three-year period. In addition to the previous benefits, donors in this category will:

 

  • Be additionally named and credited in relation to their funded residency
  • Follow the course of the residency from the selection process to completion with updates from G.A.S. and the resident
  • Be offered opportunities to meet with, and participate in, intimate events hosted by their resident (remotely or in person)

FOUNDING PATRON

$150,000+ | 70,000,000 NGN

 

A Founding Patron option is open to individuals, corporations or organisations making a substantial level of support towards programmes and the long-term sustainability of the Foundation. In return the Founding Patrons will receive:

 

  • Their name included on a permanent plaque installed at both G.A.S. locations in Nigeria
  • All the benefits offered to donors at the Platinum level for a period of three years
  • An invitation to join our prestigious advisory panel
  • Option to hire G.A.S. Lagos or the G.A.S. Farm House

INTERNATIONAL CIRCLE

 

In 2023 Yinka Shonibare Foundation and Guests Artists Space Foundation evolved its  approach to commissioning by offering memebrship to its International Circle as a means of supporting long term projects with cross cultural impact. Shaped by the visions of its members, artists, cultural stakeholders and philanthropists they are realised by the long-term support of an invited group of committed benefactors based around the world. International Circle members make a three year commitment at a substantial level of support.
